On another note, I understand perfectly what you mean by these competitions need to be fun. I’m a casual anime watcher – well not that casual but not anywhere near hardcore – but i’m a pretty hard gamer. And when you play games when they get to the competitive level, the game is no longer about fun and everything just becomes as serious as life and death. Lets not even mention that fights can erupt when sore losers get pwned over and over again. Not to mention cheating and bad mouthing.

Moderation is by far the best medicine for such competition related topics.

But what’s the fun in that?

It was more likely 30% as not all ‘foreigners’ got the ‘foreign’ IP related codes.
