Cognac was my first thought too, being popular among older Asian men. Of course, there’s no reason to imagine that Junko Kaname’s taste is of an Asian man, but in that case I’d imagine rum or whiskey is more preferred among women than congnac.
I suppose there could be some other kind of fancy brandy which fits a woman’s taste better.

I don’t think people who know how to brandy drink it out of a rocks glass, or use ice. She’s drinking a whiskey of some sort.

Point on the glass, but icing brandy is perfectly legit. I mean the French even add soda to their cognacs.
